The FDA now requires all e-cigarette retailers to include a health warning label on vaping products that describe the addictive qualities of nicotine, similar to warnings that have been required on cigarette packs for years. Screen Shot 2015-06-09 at 10.48.00 PM6/6/15--Big Tobacco began to realize that e-cigarettes were not just a fad, but a new threat to their established markets. And they might be the prototype of a product the industry had long searched for in vain: the safer cigarette. Imperial Tobacco concluded a deal with Hon Lik, the Chinese inventor of the e-cigarette. Philip Morris International, the makers of Marlboro, bought Nicocigs. And, British American Tobacco purchased a Manchester start-up, CN Creative. Read
