Pueblo doctors see rise in marijuana sickness cases

12/11/17–Emergency room doctors at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo are seeing a rise of illnesses due to an excessive intake of marijuana. It’s a condition called scromiting, commonly referred as Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome, which results in symptoms like screaming and vomiting. Medical experts believe the symptoms are the result of people consuming heavy amounts of marijuana over extended periods of time.
