Paragould woman says medical marijuana cured her disease

4/27/15–Arkansans dealing with a terminal disease are turning to a controversial option they believe could help save their lives. One Paragould woman, Kathy Michaud, who was diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy and taking up to 30 pills a day, started researching other alternatives and came across medical marijuana. “Still today, Arkansas won’t acknowledge the fact that medical cannabis can heal and cure. Used properly, it can do it!” says Laughing Bear Michaud, Kathy’s husband. “This is 2 years later.
