Teens who use cannabis at risk of schizophrenia

Screen Shot 2016-01-20 at 11.42.18 AM1/17/16–Exposure to marijuana in adolescence leads to schizophrenia-like changes in the brain, help according to research published in the journal Cerebral Cortex. Adolescent rodents with THC exposure were socially withdrawn and demonstrated increased anxiety, pharmacy cognitive disorganization and abnormal levels of dopamine, all of which are features of schizophrenia.
